My name is Marlene Boring. My health and wellness journey began a little over 20 years ago. After experiencing excruciating pain in my right arm that came out of “nowhere,” I began visiting doctor after doctor in different fields of specialty to find out why I was experiencing all of this pain. Over time, the excruciating pain increased and spread throughout my body and more mysterious symptoms began to appear (differences in skin temperature – one hand cold and the other hand hot, hypersensitivity to touch – burning sensation, etc.). At one point, I couldn’t even touch my own face! As time went on, my ability to walk also became hampered and continued to get worse. The doctors were stumped but offered that my diagnosis might be Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD), now referred to as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) Type 1. One specialist diagnosed me with RSD with a secondary diagnosis of Fibromyalgia. In my health journey, I found that allopathic medicine only addressed my symptoms, but did not address the root causes. After several years (and 11 doctors and specialists), my husband and I were given contact information for a homeopathic provider. What did we have to lose?
